An Environmentally Responsible Event

In 2006, the Salon national de l’environnement was the first event open to the general public in Quebec to recycle all organic as well as traditional materials. During the 2007 edition, more than 97% of the total waste was recovered. As a trailblazer in the area of environmental responsibility, the SNE is currently studied by the Réseau des femmes en environnement as a pilot project for developing new certification for environmentally responsible events.
